I happened to be partaking in a meal with some casual acquaintances just the other day when I spied this happening:

Clearly raising the tax on RTD’s has done nothing about under age drinking.

In a not unusual event I found myself visiting the temple of Daniel Murphay this afternoon. Imagine my shock and outrage when I found this sign:

Quite how a $40ish bottle of grog be so special that it’s locked up beneath the counter while much more expensive bottles are sitting on the shelf next to it perplexes my simple and naive mind.

Anyway in protest I bought one of these instead:

So far this stuff ain’t bad.

This afternoon I found myself in the temple of Daniel Murphay, and noted an obscure brand of scotch I’d not sampled previously.

A thorough review is currently in progress, however the jury is still out on Jura.

Not only that, this place took just under an hour to serve some wedges. It’s class all the way.
